Polaris Officials Open Manhunt for Mass Burglar

For the past month, reports have flooded in from around Polaris regarding thefts from homes. In all of them, security camera footage has shown a person with their face covered in a space suit colored like Martian regolith bypassing security locks, entering buildings through their airlocks, and stealing food with other valuables. Officials have failed to catch the perpetrator, and now, with the support of the National Space Council, have started a colony-wide manhunt for them.

Starting today, Polaris officials will be randomly visiting each colonist, in search for whoever has been breaking into their fellow colonists’ homes. They have also raised the reward for information leading to an arrest to $10,000.

“We are committed to catching this individual, and we will not stop our search until they are arrested,” said the Polaris Bluesky account last night. “We urge all colonists to remain vigilant and to cooperate with our officers.”
